The Domestic Assistant Role is for 28.75 hours per week plus bank hours. Permanent Role.

As a Domestic Assistant you will be in charge of undertaking cleaning duties across the site ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with RQIA and Health & Safety Regulations.
Duties will include:
- Comprehensive cleaning (washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting etc..) ensuring the service meets high standards of Hygiene and cleanliness.
- Reporting any maintenance issues (damages, faults) to management teams
- To organise and assist with laundry duties
- Using and storing of cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations Cleanliness and hygiene is a vital part of any COSH assessment, therefore the role of domestic assistant is a key support service of the site
- Working on own initiative to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Liaising with team members and senior staff.
We are looking for an individual with great attention to detail who can assist with cleaning our site to an excellent standard.
Experience / Qualification:
Experience of working in a care setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Experience of previous cleaning role desirable.
Successful candidates must be willing to complete an Access NI check. We adhere to the Access NI Code of Practice (available on request).
